The final two miles to Websters Park was a pleasant hike through more ponderosa pine trees.  We reached Websters Park camp at well after 4:00 PM.  the sun was already behind the ridge and shade covered the campsite.  The posted map of camp on a nearby tree indicated that there was a water source.  After locating the water tank and finding it empty the crew leader remembered that the water source was not functional.  According to the map the nearest water source was at Cimmaroncito Camp a 1.2 mile hike from Websters Park camp.  Our options were to eat a Lunch instead of dinner to conserve the water supply we were carrying or send a group to get some water.  It was decided to hike to Cimmaroncito to get 4 gallons of water.  Mr. C, Do, Chris and Robert hiked to get the water.   While they went for water the rest of the crew finished setting up camp and making preparations for dinner.  While putting up the bear bags we noticed that though the trees we could make out the Tooth of Time.  It looked like it was very far away.  About 10 miles to be exact.  I took a few pictures and returned to camp.  The water party returned at about 6:45 PM and dinner dinner was prepared.

The evening was warm with a slight breeze.  The moon was out again and it looked like we were going to be spared from rain once again.  From what we had heard it rains everyday at Philmont we were expecting the worst weather.  So far we have had the best weather and the only rain we have received did not interfere with any of our activities.  Some more card playing and then time to turn in.

The morning, one hour, challenge was now routine.  The crew was up and on the trail in 45 minutes.   As we left camp the sun was just about to peak over the distant ridge.  About a half mile down the trail we saw another deer next to the trail.   Our next stop would be the Hunting Lodge.
