Robert "Crew Leader - 2003"

Age: 16
Rank: Eagle
Troop Position: Senior Patrol Leader
Nickname/s: Zafa the Conqueror,
Kisrbyi Master of the Universe

Favorite Camp:   Ponil
The Cantina!!  Showers and the Chuck Wagon Dinner and Breakfast.   It was also quite pretty, and our campsite had less on an incline than the others.
Worst Camp:   Anasazi
It was the camp where one of my crew members became ill and required help from the Philmont Camp staff.
Worst Thorn Twisted ankle
Then I went rock climbing at Dean Cow which made it even worse.  I favored my right leg while hiking which caused a blister on my right foot.  This was not fun, let me tell you.
Best Rose:   The night sky
Where I live the ambient light from all the street lights makes it impossible to see the stars.  Our crew was blessed with clear skies on most nights and included a full moon.   Just Beautiful!!!!!
Favorite Trail Lunch:  Tuna in a bag
The tuna in a bag was great. There was no oil or water to dispose of.  It went great with the crackers.
Favorite Trail Dinner:  Tooth of Time Chicken
The combination was great. It was easy to prepare and tasted great.  The Teriaki Chicken comes in a close second though.  I just love Chinese food.
Favorite Trail Breakfast:  All the ones with the tasty drinks
Some of the breakfast meals contained Hot Chocolate and Oatmeal.  Since we ate on the trail on most mornings it was not practical to heat water.  Some of the breakfast contained some very tasty cold drink mixes.  The grape and orange were my favorites.
Favorite Activity   30.6 rifle shooting
I enjoyed most of the activities but this one stood out.  I was able to shoot a hole through my wallet and shoot holes through Do's hat which was on the hill as a target.
If I went again I would bring...   A portable shower
I would bring a portable shower and deodorant that bears don't like.   Might as well throw in clothing that doesn't absorb stink while I'm still dreaming.
If I went again I would not bring...  Do
Just kidding, Do was a great tent mate.  I had some extra cold climate clothing I carried and never used.  But if I would have left them at base camp it would have been cold and wet.
Would I go again?   Yes, in a second
When I go again I would like to be on the staff which means I would get paid to have fun.  Can't ask for more than that.
Activities I would like to see on the next TrekBlack powder rifles, shotgun shooting, and 30.6 rifle shooting
