Favorite Camp: Ponil
Although the campsite itself was nothing great, but the amenities made up for that. Ponil had nice hot showers, served ice cold Root Beer and served a Chuck Wagon Dinner and Breakfast.
Worst Camp: Upper Clarks Fork
The camp was too far from water and the activities in Clarks Fork. We did not get a chance to be in our campsite very long.
Worst Thorn: Straps breaking
Both of my backpack straps failed during the Trek. Luckily I was able to repair well enough to continue.
Best Rose: The scenery
I love to be in the outdoors and being able to share it with my son is priceless.
Favorite Trail Lunch: Tuna
The tuna was really good on the crackers.
Favorite Trail Dinner: Mexican Bean
.The Mexican Beans and rice was very good. Just the right amount of spiciness
Favorite Trail Breakfast: Pop Tarts
Pop Tarts and Cheerio breakfast as we were leaving Upper Clarks Fork.
Favorite Activity: 30.6 shooting
I had never had a chance to do it before. Only wish we would have had more shots.
If I went again I would bring... I had everything I needed and then some.
If I went again I would not bring... any smellables
They spent most of the time in the bear bag and weren't used nearly enough.
Would I go again? Yes
I hope to go again. I have two more sons starting out in Scouting and God willing I will get a chance to go with each of them as they get old enough to go.
Activities I would like to see on the next Trek: Mountain Biking, Black Powder Rifle and panning for gold
