"Chris"

Chris - 2003"

Age: 16
Rank: Life
Troop Position: None - currently
Nickname/s: Bueford and Big Papa Smurf

Favorite Camp: Ponil
The Root Bear in the Cantina.  The roping of the cows and the Cantina Bar show.
Worst Camp:   Webster Parks
The camp was dry.  We had to hike to Cimmaroncito to get water.  That was not good.  Four of us hiked an extra two miles to get terrible tasting water.
Worst Thorn: Ill crew members attitude
He wouldn't stop barfing and whining. He never shut up.  He threw up in the tent and made it smell bad on the first night.
Best Rose:   Sunrise at Sawmill and the shotgun shooting.
The sunrise was beautiful and the shotgun shooting was great. I hit five out of five to win the Ice Cream offered by the advisors.
Favorite Trail Lunch:  Jalapeno cheese and Ritz crackers
The lunches came with squeezy cheese.  Some were cheddar, some were Jalapeno. I liked that one best.
Favorite Trail Dinner: Tooth of Time Chicken
Most of the dinners were OK, but I liked the Tooth of Time Chicken. It was was a mixture of rice and chicken..
Favorite Trail Breakfast:  Pop Tarts and Cheerios
The pop tarts were very good. I liked the cheerios too, even without the milk.
Favorite Activity:   Shotgun shooting
I got to shoot flying disks of clay with shells I got to create. How cool is that?
If I went again I would bring...   Bandanas.  A water bladder and more Nalgene bottles.
I only had one Nalgene bottle and several smaller bottles for water.  It just wasn't enough storage.
If I went again I would not bring... So many clothes
I carried some clothes I did not even use.
Would I go again?   Yes
Because it was fun, good exercise and good use of summer time
Activities I would like to see on the next Trek Black Powder rifle shooting and shotgun shooting
